At Slanghoek Mountain Resort, a variety of accommodations await your arrival, including self-catering chalets and a charming tented camp, alongside the option for camping with your own tent or caravan. Throughout the year, this valley unveils its ever-changing beauty, each season a revelation of its own unique charm.
We do offer 10 Eco Pear View cottages with two bedrooms, one en-suite, large kitchen and family room with a indoor braai and a EXCEPTIONAL view. Each unit does have a Kol Kol (hot tub) to enjoy the most beautiful scenery. These units cater for 4 people. Here you also have access to Wifi.
Added to that we also offer the Platbos Log Cabins at the Platbos dam which is about 4km away from the resort onto the mountain. You will be at total peace as these units. As they are equipped with solar and LED lights with a gas stove and a fireplace for the cold winter nights. You will also have a Weber for a typical South African braai on the veranda of the unit. At these units we only offer two USB charging points for charging your phone. Limited cell phone reception will ensure that you are at peace with nature. These units cater for 6 people. Two queen size beds with two single beds. Bass fishing will add a extra touch at these units.
Our campsites reside on separate premises from the resort, ensuring tranquility and privacy for all guests. We do have 17 campsites with large open space and a lovely green lawn for you to relax and kids to play till bed time. Most of our site have large trees with a escape from the summer sun with ample shade. All the campsites have there own ablution with a Wendy house Here you will have a Toilet, shower, basin and a outside basin. The campsite have a play area for kids and two swimming pools. The stream running in between the site do offer endless hours of fun for the kids.
Our chalets are thoughtfully appointed with amenities such as heaters, refrigerators, and microwave ovens, while our safari tents offer modern comforts amidst the wilderness. We have a well equipped shop onsite for more than the necessities, from bread, milk, coldrinks, wood, Ice, etc and a variety of locally made rusks and different jams. We also sell our local Olive oil. This is very popular and is shipped throughout the entire SA. There are always a special person that will be happy to receive a gift from the Slanghoek Resort Padstal
